Police are advising residents to be on the alert and report any suspicious activity that could be associated with the Grinch, in a bid to maintain the safety of the holiday season. There appears to be no involvement from his dog Max, as there was no mention of an accomplice.

The NYPD is calling upon the public to share any information they may have on the whereabouts of the Grinch. The message, posted on Christmas day, highlights the urgency of the situation: "If you have any information on him, let us know so we can keep Christmas safe!"
