The economic development proposals, vetted by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) and spurred by collaboration with JobsOhio and its regional partners, are not just about bringing home the bacon in terms of job numbers. They're also set to crank up a new payroll worth over $148 million and trigger investments that tip over the $1.1 billion mark. The central region of Ohio is prepping for a plastic production boom with CCC Plastics USA, expected to create 25 new roles, while Net World Sports Ltd stakes its claim to help bolster the sports, fitness, and leisure equipment sector in London, Ohio, by adding 55 positions.

On the manufacturing front, no stone has been left unturned. Whirlpool Corporation's expansion across two locations forecasts an impressive 448 jobs, channeling over $20 million into new annual payroll, as per Governor Mike DeWine. Up in the northeastern neck of the woods, Ohio Lumex is ramping up to enlist 30 new employees, and Poly6 Technologies isn't far behind with a commitment to create 164 jobs. Revere Plastics Systems jumps in too, betting on 378 new positions in Clyde.

Over to the northwest, we've got Imasen Bucyrus Technology setting sights on revving up by 170 jobs, while Kalmbach Feeds eyes a sizable expansion with 213 new job slots. The village of North Baltimore is welcoming La Linea Verde North America OP LLC with a 77-job embrace, and Turbine Standard LTD, JetCat Defense Inc., and Cast Holdings LLC are propelling into the future with 194 roles up for grabs in Holland. Not to be overshadowed, Wieland Chase, LLC in Montpelier, looks to bolster its workforce by 43.

Moving southwest, Hamilton's economic tapestry gets richer with Salvagnini America pressing forward by adding 28 positions, and SencorpWhite raises the stakes with 230 jobs on the line as it plans to triumphantly trot from Massachusetts to Ohio, making Hamilton its new headquarters. Dayton isn't left behind, with CareSource Management Services planning to excel with 167 new roles, while Crusoe Energy Systems leans into the tech sector with a new data center in Springfield, promising 20 positions. Lastly, the city of Springboro is prepping for a bright, tech-forward future with Riverain Technologies looking to enhance the medical field with 48 fresh faces, further mirrored by Supply Technologies' merger move to Union, which aims to rope in 57 specialists in distribution and warehousing.
