
Portland’s Pioneer Courthouse Square will host a New Year’s Eve celebration to welcome 2026, featuring a drone show and dance party. Mayor Keith Wilson described the free, family-friendly event as a growing Portland tradition and expects it to draw a large crowd.
The event, coordinated with local organizations, begins at 8 p.m. with the Video Dance Attack Party. The first drone display starts at 9 p.m., followed by a countdown drone show at midnight. According to Portland, Mayor Keith Wilson said, "I am thrilled that the Square will again host the New Year's Eve Drone Show." Food and beverages will be available for attendees.
According to Portland, Attendees are encouraged to use TriMet, which will have extended service on December 31. For those driving, nearby Smart Park garages are available. Courtney Posey, President of The Square's volunteer Board, said, "It's fantastic to see everyone coming together again for this vibrant New Year's Eve bash."
Pioneer Courthouse Square, Prosper Portland's Office of Events & Film, and True West Presents are hosting a safe and accessible New Year’s Eve celebration.
