
During their Christmas celebration, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office in Oklahoma took time to honor the dedication of their team. At the annual Christmas Party, they recognized several deputies for their years of service, celebrating the people who help keep their community safe, according to the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office.
During the holiday celebration, several officers were recognized for their years of service, ranging from five to twenty years. This year, Sergeant Wesley Neidel, Lieutenant Dakota Black, Corporal Amber Beckham, Deputy Garey Knoles, Undersheriff Marcus May, Sergeant Jason Seikel, and Deputy Fanuel Dragman all reached the five-year milestone, as reported by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office.
As seen on the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office official Facebook page, the acknowledgment didn't stop there with Captain Jared Strand hitting a decade in service, and Deputy Paula Vanlandingham being amongst those who were also recognized for ten years of dedication—honors that echo the ongoing commitment felt throughout the office.
Further embodying long-term dedication, Jennifer Baker and Deputy Brent Vanlandingham celebrated fifteen years, and Deputy Scott Hawkins was applauded for an impressive two decades of service, these award recipients illustrate a deeper narrative; they represent a sustained presence in the everyday lives in Pottawatomie County, serving as pillars of constancy in a world often beset by rapid changes and uncertainties, the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office stated they are "grateful for the dedication, professionalism, and continued service each of these individuals brings to our Office and to the citizens of Pottawatomie County."
