
A serious collision on U.S. 75 near Midpark Road in Richardson, Texas, resulted in dire traffic congestion last Saturday afternoon. According to FOX 4 News, the Dallas Fire-Rescue units made their way to the crash site after receiving multiple 911 calls about the wreck at 3:44 p.m., where they encountered a severely damaged, overturned pickup truck.
Following the incident, authorities shut down multiple southbound lanes to facilitate emergency response efforts, consequently jamming the southbound flow as crews worked vigorously at the scene. After multiple 911 calls came reporting a wreck, Dallas Fire-Rescue units were sent to the scene at 3:44 p.m., according to FOX 4 News. Upon arrival, they found the overturned truck near the inner median.
Emergency personnel successfully transported one critically injured individual to the hospital, where paramedics "were able to get that person’s pulse back" before hospital arrival, as FOX 4 News reports. Remarkably, there were no additional casualties reported from the accident.
While details of the crash are hazy, it is not yet known the number of vehicles involved nor whether the victim was inside the wrecked truck. No other injuries were reported, fortunately, according to a statement given to The Texas Informer. Also undisclosed is the identity of the person injured in the crash.
