The CCSO welcomed a seasoned veteran into its ranks with the swearing-in of Deputy Howard Sebring. With a robust 37 years of law enforcement experience already under his belt, Sebring is pegged to join the Civil Division of the Cleveland County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO), as announced in a recent Cleveland County Sheriff's Office post.
Undersheriff Sheriff Amason conducted the swearing-in ceremony at approximately 10:30 a.m. The new deputy is no stranger to public service; his resume includes a stint as a Military Police Officer in the United States Marine Corps, a Game Warden, and as a part of JPATS—the U.S. Marshals Service’s prisoner-transport network. This position at CCSO marks his first role within this specific office. "Deputy Sebring will serve in our Civil Division, bringing with him a lifetime of experience shaped by service to both his country and his community," the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office stated.
The CCSO expressed its gratitude for Sebring choosing to continue his law enforcement career with them and highlighted the depth of experience he brings to the table. Deputy Sebring's career spans various facets of law enforcement, demonstrating a commitment to both environmental protection and national security.
The emphasis on Sebring's joining the CCSO was on the experience and professionalism he is expected to bring to Cleveland County. The CCSO's post urges the community to offer "a warm CCSO welcome" to their new member. Deputy Sebring's varied background in military and civil law enforcement aligns with CCSO's objectives of upholding law and order with a seasoned perspective.
