NaYa Dessert Cafe, the San Francisco dessert spot known for its layered crepe cakes, bingsu and milk-tea drinks, is packing up its sugar and heading to Davis. The brand is opening a new outpost at 620 Fourth St, right in the middle of Downtown, with longtime Davis resident and franchisee Paige Rosebrook at the helm. The team is currently eyeing a mid-January 2026 opening, which would bring NaYa's crepes, milk teas and fruit-forward drinks straight into the city's core.
According to What Now Sacramento, this Davis location will be NaYa's third shop and Rosebrook has confirmed she will run it. She told the outlet that she started by making the trek from Davis to San Francisco just to visit NaYa, and said the cafe lives up to its tagline: "Anytime is dessert time."
What To Expect On The Menu
In San Francisco, NaYa has built a following with menus loaded with layered crepe cakes, bingsu-style shaved ice, toasted brioche "toasts," savory crepes and an extensive lineup of milk-tea and fruit-forward drinks. Among the standouts at the original locations are a Thai Tea crepe cake, a charcoal-colored "Black Thai Tea" crepe and a salted-egg lava cake. The brand describes its offerings as a blend of Thai-inspired flavors and Asian dessert classics. For a closer look at the existing lineup, check out the menus on NaYa Dessert Cafe.
Where The Space Came From
The Davis shop is taking over the former Farmers Kitchen space at 620 Fourth St, a change that has already shown up in local records. Comings & Goings notes that the city's building permit for the address lists the Wanner family as the owner on file.
Roots In San Francisco
NaYa first launched in San Francisco before expanding into Hayes Valley and the Inner Richmond, building a reputation for intricate crepe cakes and over-the-top desserts. Coverage of its Hayes Valley debut highlighted the dessert categories that quickly turned it into a neighborhood favorite.
For now, details like operating hours and staffing for the Davis location are still being finalized. The team is working toward a mid-January 2026 opening, as reported by What Now Sacramento, with more information expected to surface as permits are processed and the cafe moves closer to its debut.
