
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office arrest report for the period ending December 1 revealed a wide range of offenses, as detailed on the county's official government website. Among the notable incidents, Carlos Lyle Robert Garcia, a 37-year-old from St Paul, was arrested on November 24th in Dakota County on a Wright County warrant related to 5th Degree Drug Possession, a glimpse into the relentless cross-county nature of law enforcement. Similarly, on the same day, Brittney Lynn Case, a 25-year-old from Brainerd, was detained in Anoka County, also on a Wright County warrant for a serious charge of Fleeing a Peace Officer in a Motor Vehicle.
The report also detailed several additional arrests. Leslie Scott Kallunki, 68, of Clearwater, was taken into custody for driving after cancellation. In a separate case, Jerry Lee Martichuski, 35, of Braham, was arrested in Isanti County on a Wright County warrant for third-degree criminal sexual conduct. The list of incidents spanned minor to serious offenses. Authorities also reported multiple second- and third-degree DWI arrests, including those of Jeremy Knight Blanchard, 48, of Cottage Grove, and Wade Michael Hunter, 52, of Monticello, as detailed by Wright County.
Violations of harassment orders and the continued combat against drug-related crimes had their own share of the spotlight, with Michael Lee Rengel II, 28, of Maple Grove and Mason Trevor Dziuk, 27, of Bloomington, both arrested on two counts and one count respectively for Violation of Harassment Restraining Order on November 25, and for 5th Degree Drug Possession, arrests indicative of a larger societal struggle with abuse and addiction. Domestic violence allegations were also prevalent with several individuals, such as Kristian Harris Tuttle, 23, of Delano, and Diane Lindsey Zabel, 40, of Otseg, who were taken into custody on domestic assault charges, as per Wright County.
County roads saw a flurry of incidents, including 28 property-damage accidents, six personal-injury crashes, seven hit-and-run cases, and six car-deer collisions—underscoring the persistent challenges facing traffic safety. Deputies also reported seven DWI arrests, reflecting ongoing concerns over impaired driving, along with six underage consumption arrests, highlighting continued issues involving youth and alcohol.
