Last Thursday, around 5:28 p.m., a victim was confronted by three individuals in the 1000 block of 6th Street, Southwest. In a threatening display, two of the trio brandished handguns, demanding the victim's coat and personal items. Having stripped the victim of his belongings, the suspects took flight, melting into the city's vast canvas. The police, in their efforts to canvass the area, identified one of the suspects shortly after the incident occurred.
21-year-old Tristan Cleckley from Southeast was stopped by the officers and subsequently arrested. In a release posted on their official website, the MPD listed the charges against Cleckley as Robbery, Carrying a Pistol Without a License, and Felon in Possession.
