A routine stop for food by a Vacaville police officer turned into an arrest on Nut Tree Parkway. A social media post by the Vacaville Police Department detailed an incident that occurred just after 8 PM last Wednesday, when an on-duty officer was flagged down inside a popular local restaurant after someone allegedly threatened to kill another customer.

Upon entering the establishment, the officer identified the suspect, 20-year-old Edward Wondeh of Vacaville, who complied with commands after being approached. Police discovered a concealed, loaded .45 caliber handgun inside Wondeh's jacket. Wondeh's associate, Attila Finch, 22, also of Vacaville, was present and found to be carrying an unserialized 9mm handgun in his waistband despite initially refusing to comply with police commands. The incident appears to have been sparked by a minor dispute about restaurant seating, an issue that escalated quickly and could have proved deadly.

Both men were arrested and are now facing multiple felony charges, including those related to the possession of concealed firearms. "Mr. Wondeh and Mr. Finch were booked into the Solano County Jail on multiple felony firearm-related charges, as well as public intoxication charges. Mr. Wondeh also faces a probation violation," the Vacaville Police Department reported.
