According to the Facebook post by White Settlement PD, after ditching the vehicle, the duo was quickly apprehended following a brief on-foot chase. Showing a sense of pride in the effective collaboration between the departments, the social media update heralded, "Great teamwork and collaboration between WSPD and FWPD West Division!"
The successful joint operation further highlighted the role of Sgt. John Banner's shift and the WEST COMM Dispatch Center. They were given a special nod for their coordination and rapid response, which played pivotal roles in subduing the situation effectively.
