The fire, which was reported to have started just before 1 a.m., was battled by Bartlett fire crews who managed to contain and extinguish the blaze within an hour, according to the city of Bartlett.

As official statements reflected, "It is still unclear what caused the fire at this time. But this is still an ongoing invesitgation," hinting at the complex process of piecing together the narrative that precedes a fire's birth.

The Bartlett Fire Department shared via social media their gratitude for neighboring departments' assistance and the tangible help from public works, expressing, "We appreciate the assistance of the Germantown Fire Department who sent a fire engine to the city to standby for other calls while most of ours were on the scene."
