One of Grapevine Mills’ quick-hit refreshment stops has gone silent. Fresca Palapa’s kiosk inside the mall has closed, leaving a small hole in the food corridor where shoppers used to grab fruit-heavy drinks on the fly. The stand shut down on Jan. 11 after operating at the center since mid-2023.

As reported by Community Impact, the Grapevine Mills outpost had been serving fresh juices, smoothies, fruit bowls and aguas frescas before closing. The brand's locations page still lists a Grapevine entry and describes similar menu items, according to Fresca Palapa, which suggests the shutdown is limited to this mall kiosk rather than the company’s entire footprint.
Online Listings Still Lagging Behind
The mall’s directory has not caught up yet. It continues to host a store page for Fresca Palapa and places the kiosk "across from Meow Wolf," according to Simon, a sign that some public listings remain out of date. Third-party ordering platforms are sending mixed signals too, since some delivery listings now mark the Grapevine location as closed or not accepting orders, per Uber Eats.
What It Means For The Mall
Grapevine Mills has been reshaping its food and entertainment lineup over the past few years, and small-format concessions have been among the quickest to turn over. Community Impact previously spotlighted Fresca Palapa’s July 2023 opening as part of a broader push to offer fast, fresh options for mall visitors, and the chain still lists other Texas locations on its website.
