A fatal shooting by a York County deputy is under investigation after a confrontation with an individual armed with a knife at a Fort Mill home, this past Friday morning. Sheriff Tony Breeden of the York County Sheriff’s Office has called on the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) to lead an inquiry into the incident, as reported by QC News.
Authorities responded around 9:20 a.m. on January 30 to a Pine Ridge Court residence for a report of an unconscious person.
