
Lorain County has a reason for celebration as one of its own, Deputy Sheriff Craig Ali, takes on a significant leadership role after being inducted into a prestigious law enforcement position. Deputy Ali was sworn in as Chapter Second Vice President for the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Execs (NOBLE), a moment highlighted by the Lorain County Sheriff's Office in a recent social media post. With over a quarter-century of experience in diverse law enforcement areas, Ali's resume boasts involvement in the Crisis Intervention Team and Opioid Overdose Response Team, and he also brings a strong background in educational leadership, holding an MS in Criminal Justice, among other qualifications.
The ceremony was graced with the presence of Sheriff Hall and Chief Deputy Czack, who witnessed Ali's new chapter in NOBLE, which has been advocating for justice and equity in community policing since its inception. A dedicated figure in law enforcement, Ali has previously shown his worth by working alongside organizations like the DEA and ICAC, while his academic contributions as an Assistant Dean and Professor focus on important compliance areas like Title IX and the Clery Act, he is also a certified police academy instructor and has served honorably in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1992 to 1998.
NOBLE's mission complements Ali's extensive career - they focus on promoting equality and excellence in law enforcement while fostering stronger ties with communities through education, mentorship. Additionally, the organization supports diversity and high professional standards in the justice system.
