Details provided by the NOPD outlined that the collision happened at midday, sending the victim flying some 30 feet upon impact and leaving them with multiple injuries, the suspected driver stopped briefly a block away at Curie Street before fleeing without offering help to the stricken juvenile, witnesses described the vehicle as a well-kept black Kia sedan with no visible license plate and a black male driver sporting dreadlocked hair and light-colored sunglasses.
