Snarf’s Sandwiches is stepping on the gas across the Denver metro, with a new Aurora shop at Buckley Square slated to open next Monday (Feb. 2) and several other Front Range locations already lined up behind it. The Boulder-born sandwich chain is steering its oven-toasted subs into neighborhoods from Montbello to Lakewood, giving local shoppers more quick, hearty lunch options and longtime fans a fresh batch of spots for their go-to orders.
A recent business-license filing lists the Aurora shop at 16950 E Iliff Ave., Suite F1, in the Buckley Square shopping center near King Soopers, and local reporting notes that the Aurora storefront is one of four Snarf’s locations currently in development across the greater Denver area, including Montbello, the Hampden corridor, and Lakewood/Belmar. These upcoming sites were reported by What Now Denver.
Snarf’s traces its roots to a 1996 Boulder start by founder Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel, and the company’s press materials say it now counts nearly 50 shops across Colorado, Texas, and Missouri while keeping dozens clustered along the Front Range. The brand leans on oven-toasted sandwiches, from classic Italians and meatball Parmesan to bigger plays like smoked brisket and its infamous hot dog sandwich, along with vegetarian and gluten-free choices. The company also emphasizes tailoring each location’s look and menu mix to the surrounding neighborhood, as per Snarf’s Pressroom
Where the new shops are headed
Beyond Aurora, Snarf’s has signaled it is aiming at a mix of inner-ring neighborhoods and suburban shopping centers. The Hampden corridor and Montbello sites are set to add more options close to downtown, while the Lakewood/Belmar address targets a busy retail hub. The rollout follows a familiar pattern for the chain: pick high-traffic centers anchored by grocers or big-box retailers, then hire locally to staff the new kitchens.
That approach typically translates into a handful of full- and part-time jobs per store, paired with pickup and delivery coverage to handle the inevitable lunch rush once each shop opens its doors.
Timing and what to expect
The Aurora shop is expected to flip the sign and unlock the doors next Monday, while the Lakewood/Belmar location is working off a tentative late March opening window, and the Hampden project is pegged for spring 2026. Snarf’s has also told reporters it is eyeing Fort Collins for future growth, keeping the focus on the broader Front Range.
According to the company, each new shop will offer the full sandwich lineup, the existing rewards program, and catering options. The brand’s pressroom and local business pages are set to post hiring notices and exact hours as the openings approach, so anyone tracking confirmed dates should keep an eye on those updates and on local business filings.
