South Main just picked up a new neighbor. Brooklyn's, an American-fusion restaurant from first-time owner Brandi Bohn, is now open at 401 S. Main St. in Fort Worth's South Main corridor. The kitchen pulls from Italian, Asian, Mexican, and American flavors for dishes like beef bulgogi topped pizzas, chicken teriyaki quesadillas, and a 14 ounce ribeye finished with a hoisin glaze. Bohn says plans are in the works for a second floor cocktail lounge and an event room aimed at hosting art shows and live music.
Menu Highlights
According to Fort Worth Magazine, pizzas at Brooklyn's land on crusts designed to resemble naan and come loaded with toppings such as beef bulgogi and blackened chicken béchamel. Other plates include orange lemongrass shrimp scampi and quesadillas stuffed with chicken teriyaki. The menu is billed as American fusion, a mash up that leans on techniques and ingredients from multiple cuisines.
Opening Timeline
Local food blog Fort Worth Digital Diary reported that Brooklyn's held a soft opening in early December before shifting to full service on Dec. 9. That slower start gave the crew time to fine tune the menu and bar program before inviting in a bigger crowd this month.
Who's Behind It
Bohn brought in executive chef Cole Elrod, who spent 15 years at the Abilene Country Club, to lead the kitchen, while Fort Worth bartender Darrell Lundy, with stints at Le Margo and Quince, is heading up the drinks program, according to Fort Worth Magazine. Bohn told the magazine she has been sober for seven years and named the restaurant after her eight year old daughter. The project was financed in part by family investors, including her father, Cary, and her uncle, J.R. The team kept much of Tre Mogli's two story layout intact and layered in new murals by local artist Caleb Cannon.
Space With A History
The two story storefront at 401 S. Main previously housed Tre Mogli, which debuted in mid 2022 and closed about a year later. Brooklyn's is the first restaurant to take over the address since Tre Mogli shuttered, CultureMap reported. The quick turnover underscores how coveted prime South Main real estate remains for operators chasing the next hit concept.
Where It Fits
Brooklyn's arrives amid a broader wave of new concepts across Dallas–Fort Worth as chefs and owners expand into 2026, a trend highlighted in a recent roundup of notable openings and coming soon projects in the region. Its South Main address reinforces the neighborhood's pull for creative operators experimenting with hybrid menus and late night cocktails.
Practical Info
Brooklyn's lists its hours and online ordering on its Toast page, and the restaurant shares menus and event updates on Instagram at @brooklynsdining. Guests can expect daytime counter and lunch service, with full service dinners and cocktails as the team works toward opening the planned upstairs lounge.
