Two LAPD officers were injured in North Hollywood on Wednesday night after what began as a pursuit of a stolen vehicle turned into a foot chase, resulting in the hospitalization of both officers. According to CBS Los Angeles, the officers were following a car reported stolen when the suspects ditched the vehicle in the 11100 block of Archwood Place and fled on foot. The chase lead to at least one officer getting injured enough to quickly seek medical assistance.

Paramedics dispatched to the scene at 9:54 p.m. transported two officers and another individual to the hospital, KTLA reported. The nature of the third individual's involvement and condition was not disclosed in the aftermath of the incident. It was later confirmed by FOX LA that all four suspects—three men and a young woman—were eventually taken into custody. Notwithstanding the arrest, the names and ages of the suspects have to be released by authorities.

Sky5 footage from the scene showed one officer, who appeared to be alert, being loaded onto a gurney and into an ambulance. A second officer may have also been evaluated by paramedics at the scene. Fox LA mentioned that the injured officers were hospitalized with what have been described as minor injuries, but the specificity of the injuries was not released to the public.

While the identities of the officers remain private, in keeping with privacy protocols around medical incidents, the successful apprehension of the suspects brings a close to a brief yet intense search under the neon glare of North Hollywood's nightlife. Despite the suspects’ attempt to seamlessly disappear into the neighborhood, police were able to quickly adapt their pursuit strategy and bring the situation under control, as outlined by coverage from multiple local news outlets, including KTLA and FOX LA.
