According to a social media update from the Rural Metro Fire Department, crews arrived at the scene around 10:15 am to find the blaze breaking through the roof, yet all occupants had already made it to safety outside. The rapid action of the firefighters managed to halt the advance of the flames; however, the residence suffered severe damage.
In the wake of the inferno, no injuries were reported, and the investigation into what sparked the disaster is currently ongoing. The official statement from Rural Metro Fire indicated a sense of relief that the situation did not escalate to bodily harm.
