
The National Weather Service in Philadelphia has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of northern Delaware, southern New Jersey, and southeast Pennsylvania, in effect from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
According to the National Weather Service, forecasters expect snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches, which may lead to slippery road conditions in areas including Wilmington, Salem, Camden, and Philadelphia. Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling. Road condition updates are available by calling 511.
The National Weather Service forecast calls for snow, possibly mixed with rain, through the day, with a slight chance of additional snow before 8 p.m. Conditions are expected to clear overnight, with west winds of 5 to 10 mph and temperatures dropping to around 20 degrees. The coming week is expected to feature cold nights and mostly clear days, with a chance of rain or snow returning next Saturday.
