
A tragic incident unfolded on the Northeast Side of San Antonio early yesterday morning when a 43-year-old man, reportedly driving the wrong way on FM 78, collided head-on with a vehicle driven by a 21-year-old woman. The crash, which occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of North Foster Road and FM 78, left the woman with life-threatening injuries. KSAT reports that the woman was found unresponsive inside her vehicle and required hospitalization.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, efforts to rescue the woman were intense, with firefighters having to cut her out of the wreckage before she could be transported to the hospital.
