A Bad Bunny-inspired pop-up called La Casita is rolling into Social A today, flipping the spot into a tropical, camera-ready party zone modeled on the star's stage visuals. Expect a playlist stacked with Bad Bunny tracks, guest DJs, island-flavored cocktails and mocktails, plus tropical party favors. Organizers are pitching the run as a short-term, adults-only nightlife experience built for fans and late-night die-hards.
According to The Dallas Morning News, the Dallas stretch opens today and runs through Saturday, March 7. Tickets, which went on sale yesterday, are listed at $18.37 for women and $23.75 for men, and the event is restricted to ages 21 and up. The same reporting notes Puerto Rico-inspired menu items, including a parcha cocktail and coquito shots.
From Chicago To Dallas
The concept first popped up in Chicago in January, when Galeria Nightclub hosted La Casita ahead of Bad Bunny's halftime show. That run delivered a mix of reggaetón, photo ops and late-night hours, according to Time Out Chicago, and helped set the blueprint for the Dallas version.
Who’s Behind It
ACRO Presents, a Chicago-based Latin entertainment promoter, is listed as the presenting organization for La Casita's U.S. pop-up dates and has been promoting the Dallas shows on its event pages. The group has rolled out similar activations in multiple cities this year.
What To Expect
Inside, fans can expect a soundtrack leaning heavily on Bad Bunny, mixed with other Latin hits, plus guest DJs and party decor that nods to the artist's Puerto Rico imagery. The Dallas Morning News reports that specialty cocktails and mocktails inspired by Puerto Rico, including parcha-based drinks and coquito shots, will be part of the bar lineup.
Where It's Happening
The pop-up will take over Social A, an event venue at 7700 John W. Carpenter Fwy in Northwest Dallas that lists venue details and booking information on its site. Social A has recently hosted concerts, private events and other large nightlife activations, and its website provides the address and contact information.
Texas Context
La Casita's Texas dates arrive after a string of similar activations that have drawn mixed reactions elsewhere. A San Antonio preview earlier in February sparked backlash when influencers said they were told not to write an anti-ICE message on a message wall, a dust-up that led the venue to relax the restriction, according to MySA. ACRO Presents told MySA the events are intended to be inclusive and community-focused.
Don’t Confuse The Brands
One clarification for locals: La Casita the pop-up is unrelated to La Casita Bakeshop, the James Beard-recognized bakery based in Richardson that happens to share both the name and part of the regional footprint. The bakery's site and past reporting note that the two are separate businesses with no connection to the touring pop-up.
Tickets are being handled through the promoter's event listings and the venue. Check ACRO Presents or Social A's pages for up-to-date availability and entry rules, and remember it is 21 and up, so you will need a valid ID at the door.
