Police say a 31-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with a July knifepoint robbery of two teenagers on a southbound F train, during which one teen was forced to surrender a backpack containing a wallet with $440.
Investigators reported that the suspect drew a knife during the incident, demanded the bag, and then fled, leaving passengers shaken but unharmed. Transit detectives continued to investigate the case for several months before making the arrest.
According to News 12 Brooklyn, the suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Christopher Donohue. He is charged with two counts of robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. The outlet reports the victims were teenagers and confirms the incident took place on a southbound F train in July, but notes that the precinct handling the case and the exact arrest location were not disclosed.
