If your social life now revolves around a paddle and a perforated plastic ball, Cedar Park just became a destination. A new indoor pickleball complex has opened in the north Austin suburbs, packing 16 climate-controlled courts and a full-service restaurant, PickleDilly’s, into a 49,000-square-foot building that is set up for year-round play, coaching, leagues, and events. The club hosted its first open house in early February and moved into full operations on Feb. 9.
According to Community Impact, co-owner Nathan Parodi said the venue welcomed guests for an open house Feb. 7 to 8 before opening to the public on Feb. 9. The outlet reports the business is owned by Bill Parodi, Shelia Parodi, Nathan Parodi, and Jim Sweeney and is expected to draw players from Austin, Round Rock, Leander, and Georgetown.
What's inside the club
The club’s site lists 16 championship-grade, climate-controlled courts inside the roughly 49,000-square-foot building, along with two additional championship courts, locker rooms, party rooms, and a pro shop. It promotes private and group lessons, leagues, clinics, and an elite youth program called Mongoose Pickleball Academy. Visitors do not have to be members to reserve a court online, and the site outlines drop-in play options and guest passes for newcomers, according to Apex Pickleball Clubs.
Courtside dining at PickleDilly’s
PickleDilly’s, the on-site restaurant and bar, leans into a seasonal New American menu, with items including The Grace Burger, steak frites, salads, and a slate of small plates for sharing after a match. The restaurant’s website separates lunch, dinner, and bar menus, notes online ordering and catering options, and lists the eatery as "now open" inside the Apex club. Those offerings are pitched as fuel for players and a backdrop for post-match hangouts, per PickleDilly’s.
Why Cedar Park?
Operators say the club is aimed at meeting a surge in demand across the Austin metro as organized pickleball and indoor facilities grow. Nationally, the sport is still on a tear, and the SFIA 2025 Topline Participation Report found that about 19.8 million Americans played pickleball in 2024. Numbers like that help make dedicated venues and pro shops feel like safer bets in suburbs such as Cedar Park, and the new club joins a broader wave of indoor spots built for year-round play, coaching, and social time.
Membership perks and events
Apex offers single, couples, and family memberships that come with earlier booking windows and discounts on lessons and pro-shop gear, while also selling guest passes for players who want to drop in without a long-term commitment. The club’s events calendar lists monthly tournaments and plans for the Lone Star Open in April, and the membership details highlight perks such as priority reservations and discounts at PickleDilly’s, according to Apex Pickleball Clubs. The setup is designed to appeal to casual social players and more competitive regulars alike.
Pickleball's Cedar Park addition
Owners say they want Apex to function as a social hub as much as a competition venue, with party rooms and courtside dining geared toward celebrations, leagues, and team nights. Community Impact reports that co-owner Nathan Parodi noted PickleDilly’s is open to the public and not limited to players, positioning the space as both a sports club and a neighborhood restaurant. For anyone checking schedules, PickleDilly’s lists contact and ordering information, while the club’s site handles court reservations.
