The City Commission is set to convene for a priority-setting workshop, opening the floor to public input on the future direction of municipal policy and projects. On April 6 at 6 p.m., community members will have the chance to make their voices heard on issues affecting their daily lives, with volunteer Linda Lanier leading the facilitation of the event. As part of an ongoing effort to integrate community feedback into local governance, this workshop represents a direct line for constituents to influence the agenda of their elected officials.
Recognizing the importance of public involvement, the commission has issued an open invitation for residents to attend the workshop. For those who cannot make it in person or prefer to communicate in writing, input is welcomed ahead of the event. Submissions can be made through the City Commission website or via email at [email protected], according to the City of Atlantic Beach news release. This multi-channel approach ensures that even the busiest of constituents have the opportunity to contribute to their community's road map,
Questions and clarifications regarding the workshop's agenda, as well as details on how residents can engage with the process, are being addressed through the same communication channels. The City Commission encourages all interested parties to reach out for any assistance needed in submitting their input or preparing for the workshop. Interested individuals may inquire further by sending an email to [email protected]/ or calling (904) 247-5804 for more detailed information on the upcoming workshop.
