Authorities in Clayton County are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 62-year-old Calvin Redding, who was last reported seen on Saturday in the Ellenwood area. A "Mattie's Call" has been issued given that Redding has a medical condition that necessitates regular care, the nature of which remains undisclosed by the police, according to a report from FOX 5 Atlanta.
Redding, described as a Black male around 5 feet 7 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, was wearing a white shirt, white shorts, yellow hospital socks, and no shoes at the time of his disappearance from his residence in the 5700 block of Springfield Place, his family expressing deep concern about his well-being and the urgency to find him since he need constant medical attention, details shared by Atlanta News First.
The Clayton County police are urging anyone who has seen Redding or who has information regarding his whereabouts to get in touch by calling 911 or their department at (770) 477-3747, stressing the critical nature of the situation due to Redding's medical requirements, and extended exposure to the elements without proper clothing or shoes could potentially exacerbate his condition.
