A deadly crash turned a stretch of North Austin into an active investigation scene Thursday, after a person was killed in a traffic collision at 1315 Mearns Meadow Boulevard, according to Austin police.
Officers were called to the area and found a victim who was later pronounced dead. The roadway was blocked while first responders worked the scene and investigators began piecing together what happened. As of now, officials have not released the person’s name or any details about the circumstances leading up to the crash.
