A late-night walk to the car turned into a hospital trip for a 28-year-old woman on Detroit's east side, and police say the driver who hit her kept going.
According to the Detroit Police Department, the woman was struck last Saturday in the 17100 block of Conant as she walked to her car after leaving a nearby jazz club. She suffered injuries to her head and neck and was treated at a local hospital. Officers logged the crash as an aggravated assault and are investigating it as a hit-and-run.
Police have posted the case, listed as No. 2602140042, on DetroitRewards.tv, where a $2,000 reward is being offered for tips. The city entry puts the collision at about 2:03 a.m. and includes images of a white van investigators believe left the scene. Detectives say those photos could be the key to figuring out who was behind the wheel.

As reported by FOX 2 Detroit, the woman had just left Mandees Jazz Club and was crossing Conant when the van hit her. The station reports that police released photos of the suspect vehicle but have not yet identified the driver.
How To Send Tips
According to CBS Detroit, anyone who recognizes the van or knows who was driving should contact the Detroit Police Department's 11th Precinct at 313-596-1140 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Tips can also be submitted through DetroitRewards.tv, and police ask tipsters to reference case No. 2602140042.
Investigators say even small details like a partial license plate, a bumper sticker or dashcam footage could help them confirm the van's identity and track down the driver.
