North Fort Worth is about to get a lot smokier in the best possible way. Manna Heaven, a San Diego-based all-you-can-eat Korean barbecue chain, is moving into the old Dublin’s Square pub space in the Fossil Creek retail strip, bringing tabletop grills, sizzling meat, and likely some serious parking-lot traffic with it. The team is aiming for a spring opening, with plans for mini grills at every table and, at some locations, a shabu hot-pot option that turns dinner into a full-on cooking project.
What's coming to North Fort Worth
According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Fort Worth outpost is headed for the former Dublin’s Square address, tucked between BoomerJack’s and Landmark Bar & Grill. Each table is slated to get its own mini grill so diners can cook thinly sliced meats right where they sit. Licensing documents reviewed by the Star-Telegram point to a target completion date around the end of April, and the paper notes that Manna Heaven already operates Texas locations in Carrollton and Lewisville.
Renovation timeline and permits
Permit records on BuildZoom list a commercial addition permit and a razing permit tied to the Fossil Creek address, describing plans to enclose part of the patio and complete an interior finish-out for a restaurant. The entry references permit PB25-13248, with a valuation noted near $800,000, and specifies no change in occupancy classification, consistent with a restaurant-to-restaurant conversion. Those filings point to active renovation work lining up with the spring opening goal.
About the chain
Reporting from Eater San Diego traces Manna Heaven’s roots to Convoy Street in San Diego, where it launched in 2010 before expanding across California and into other states. The concept centers on relatively affordable, all-you-can-eat tabletop grilling, with some locations also offering individual shabu-shabu pots and a broad lineup of banchan. That setup helps explain why the Fort Worth build-out is focusing on specialized tabletop ventilation and custom dining fixtures.
Prices, takeout and what to expect
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Manna Heaven’s existing Texas locations generally run in the $30 to $45 range. In Carrollton, the all-you-can-eat price was cited at about $29.99, while Lewisville’s menu listed $37.99 for barbecue only and $44.99 for a barbecue-plus-shabu combo. The paper also notes that the Fort Worth restaurant may skip takeout service, since the whole experience relies on cooking food directly at the table on grills and in hot pots.
Diners can expect a casual, group-friendly layout designed for families, celebrations, and anyone who enjoys lingering over a hot grill with a crowd. Once it opens, Manna Heaven will add a hands-on Korean barbecue option to the north Fort Worth dining mix this spring, and Fossil Creek neighbors can keep an eye on permit activity and local listings for the formal opening date. Hoodline will update when a ribbon-cutting and full menu are announced.
