Joining the Credit Union Commission are Brian Eyestone and Michael Flagg, with Eyestone bringing his seasoned experience as the president and CEO of Members 1st Credit Union in St. Louis, along with his history as chair of the Missouri Credit Union Association; Flagg enters the commission with his background in strategic isotope development at AZIsotopes, as well as his prior work with BWXT Medical Ltd. and his role in managing hazardous materials for Missouri Task Force One. While the Commission gains Eyestone's extensive knowledge in credit union management, Flagg offers a dual perspective forged from his history in nuclear engineering and his bachelor's in history.
The state's attention to financial integrity continues with the reappointment of Fred Kostecki to the Missouri State Board of Accountancy. Kostecki's tenure as managing partner of RubinBrown LLP equips him with considerable insight in the field; his chairmanship at the international level with Baker Tilly International fortifies the board's global perspective on accountancy issues. With the well-being of the state's citizens in mind, Jason Napuli, DC, has been selected to serve on the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, his role as chief of chiropractic at the VA St. Louis Health Care System and his military service as a major in the United States Air Force Medical Services Corps provides the board with a practitioner who understands both the healing potential of alternative medicine and disciplined, structured care. The final appointee Jenna Sweeney is set to join the Credit Union Commission, armed with executive experience as COO of TelComm Credit Union in Springfield, along with a notable venture into civic engagement as co-founder of 100 Fold of Christian County, her dual background in financial management and community involvement may offer a fresh perspective to the commission's proceedings.
