During the session’s consent agenda, the City Council unanimously approved several special events, including a Blues Concert, the Augusta Savage Cultural Arts Festival, and recurring events such as Food Truck Friday and Market in the Park. These events provide opportunities for community engagement and participation in local cultural activities.

City litigation, indicating that both parties are nearing a resolution and that a potential settlement may be presented to the City Council for consideration. An emergency motion was approved to allocate an additional $5,000 to support the city’s legal efforts. Additionally, a comprehensive stormwater utility study is expected to release its findings earlier than anticipated, providing information to guide future decisions on this important environmental and infrastructure matter.
