Hillsborough County detectives are asking for the public's help to track down 52-year-old Corries Facion, who is wanted on domestic-violence warrants. The sheriff's bulletin lists aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and battery, second or subsequent offense, among the active charges. Officials warn residents not to confront anyone they believe is wanted and say tips should be reported directly to law enforcement.
HCSO's Warrant Wednesday post
The post, part of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office "Warrant Wednesday" series, names Facion, includes a photograph and asks anyone with information to call 813-247-8200. In the alert shared on X, detectives say they are looking for leads that could result in his arrest.
What the charges mean
Under Florida law, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is classified as a third-degree felony. A second-or-subsequent battery can also be treated as a felony when the defendant has a prior battery conviction. Both offenses carry possible prison time and fines. For more on how the charges are defined, see Florida Statutes 784.021 and 784.03.
