The two-month citywide affair, themed Inherent Resilience: Healing Through Art and Nature, is set to offer a canvas of creativity through immersive art experiences across gardens, parks, trails, and public spaces this April and May, as per the city's announcement.
As reported by the City of Kennesaw's official website, Art Blooms 2026 promises to engage the community with its temporary outdoor sculpture exhibit, alongside the vibrant artwork of wooden eggs designed by local high school students. To add a bit more fun to the artsy mix, the city invites everyone to actively participate and to fully complete the Art Blooms scavenger hunt, running from the start of April through the end of May, for a chance to win prizes generously donated by local businesses.
A full schedule of programs, workshops, and performances will also take place during this period, including kid-focused Art in the Garden events, a Creative Photography workshop, and The Beauty Project: Through the Looking Glass—a theater performance by Kennesaw State University. An anticipated highlight is the Art Hatch: Spring Arts Festival on April 25, complete with live music, artist demonstrations, and crafts that promise entertainment for all ages. The 2026 edition of Art Blooms is ramping up its regional influence, welcoming a new collaboration with the Marietta Arts Council to introduce a Sculpture Tour throughout the City of Marietta.
