
A person was found dead inside a burned tent behind a Midland-area home Wednesday morning after firefighters knocked down a blaze on a residential property, authorities said.
Shortly after 10:00 AM, crews were dispatched to a reported fire involving a tent on a residential property in the 9900 block of 15th Ave Ct E in the Midland area. Upon arrival, firefighters located an active tent fire behind a single-family home. Crews quickly extinguished the scene and a deceased individual was found inside the tent.
