
A quiet stretch just east of Puyallup city limits turned into a crime scene early Thursday when a 45-year-old man was found dead after a 3 a.m. 911 call reporting someone bleeding and in need of help, according to Pierce County deputies. Responding deputies found the man in the 12200 block of 113th Avenue East, and by daybreak detectives and forensic teams had locked down the area to figure out how the overnight emergency turned fatal. No arrests had been reported as of Thursday morning.
