The Round Table Pizza on San Antonio's North Side has gone dark, quietly closing less than a year after a full renovation of the space. The I-10 and Huebner Road location, which took over the former Bei Fang Chinese restaurant site, is no longer accepting online orders, and the listed phone line now goes unanswered, leaving nearby residents and early reviewers puzzled by how fast the storefront emptied out.

Polly Anna Rocha at MySA documented the closure, photographing a paper notice that thanked customers and pointed them to the chain's 410 and Blanco location. Rocha also reported that attempts to reach the restaurant by phone and email did not get a response. The I-10 unit is already listed on LoopNet, where commercial records show the property hit the market on Feb. 6, 2026.

Growth push and quick pullback

The short-lived Northside outpost was part of parent company FAT Brands' broader Texas expansion, which has included a flurry of new Round Table locations in San Antonio in recent years. In a Texas growth update, FAT Brands outlined its push into the market and highlighted local franchise partnerships behind the new stores around the city.

From Bei Fang to a for-lease sign

The I-10 address previously belonged to Bei Fang, a neighborhood Chinese restaurant that shut down in 2024. In April 2025, MySA reported that Round Table was still under construction at the site and cited permit filings targeting an April 30 completion date. That timeline shows how quickly the space jumped from longtime Chinese spot to fresh pizza buildout, then on to a brief run as a Round Table before landing back on the leasing market.

Where to find Round Table now

Round Table fans in the Alamo City are not completely out of luck. Industry write-ups and corporate notices still list other San Antonio locations as open, including a store along US-281. For example, QSR covered the opening of the 22815 N US Highway 281 location as part of the same Texas expansion. With the I-10 storefront now marketed to new tenants, the remaining San Antonio shops are carrying the brand's local presence on their own.
