McElroy, who is described as a white male, is now part of a nationwide effort to locate him as his details have been entered into the national missing persons database.
Authorities have not released much in the way of specifics regarding the circumstances of McElroy’s disappearance, but they are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward. A tip line has been set up and those with information can contact the Orrville Police Department directly at (330) 684-5025, or they can submit tips online through a provided link. The link to the submission form was shared via the Orrville Police Department's Facebook page, in addition to a request that the public share their post to maximize outreach.
The case number 26-011609 has been assigned to Aiden McElroy's missing persons report, and officials have been canvassing the area for any leads. The local community has shown concern and an outpouring of support, with many echoing the police's call for assistance on social media by sharing the post and spreading word of mouth in hopes of a safe return for McElroy.
