Saint Charles is preparing for its 5th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17, city officials announced on social media. The parade will bring festive celebrations to Main Street, celebrating the spirit of the Emerald Isle.
The parade, organized jointly by the City of Saint Charles and the St. Charles Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, is a family-friendly celebration of Irish heritage and Saint Patrick. It is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., with participants gathering at the Lewis and Clark Boathouse Parking Lot before proceeding down Boone’s Lick Road and along Main Street to Clark Street, according to a Facebook post.
