An unusual incident occurred last Saturday at the Vetta Sports Soccerdome in Webster Groves, where a two-year-old boy climbed inside a claw machine. The child, identified as Cooper King, was found inside the glass enclosure among the toys.

The family was at the facility to watch Cooper’s older brother play soccer when the toddler wandered into the arcade area. Cooper’s mother, Megan King, told FOX2now she looked away briefly before realizing he had climbed into the claw machine. She said she became aware of the situation after hearing someone call out Cooper’s name and point toward the machine.

The incident drew attention from family members and others at the sports center as the toddler remained inside the claw machine. According to Valley Central, Cooper appeared calm and showed no signs of distress during the approximately 20 minutes he spent inside the machine.

The situation was resolved without incident after Webster Groves police and firefighters responded to the scene. No specialized equipment was needed, and a service technician used a key to open the machine and remove the child. Cooper was safely released, and no injuries were reported.
