Jewish Family Service of Greater Dallas has moved into a major new Addison campus, rolling out a multimillion-dollar expansion that pulls primary care, behavioral health and food assistance under one roof. The Karla and Larry Steinberg Building brings a community clinic, a children's sensory gym and a greatly enlarged food pantry to the north Dallas suburbs, with the nonprofit saying the consolidated space is designed to make care easier to reach for low-income families, older adults and people with complex behavioral-health needs.

The relocation anchors the organization's "Meeting the Moment" capital campaign, which aims to raise $40 million to buy and renovate the Parkside Corporate Center as JFS' new headquarters, according to the Dallas-Fort Worth Nonprofit Business Journal. The outlet reported that JFS has already secured roughly $30 million and that the building will carry the Steinberg name in recognition of lead donors.

What the Addison campus will offer

The nonprofit's materials say the renovated building at 16301 Quorum Drive will house the new JFS Parkside Health Center, an expanded kosher-friendly food pantry, more than 40 therapy and case-management rooms for behavioral health and a children's sensory gym. JFS also lists older-adult services, PLAN Clubhouse space and career and financial coaching among the offerings. Services at the new site began on March 2, 2026, and the group's Northpoint Health Center on Greenville Avenue will continue to operate, according to Jewish Family Service of Dallas.

Clinic size and capacity

The Parkside Health Center itself is expected to come in at roughly 21,000 square feet, giving JFS a much larger footprint for primary care in north Dallas, the Dallas Business Journal reports. The Addison campus also sits about a mile from JFS' Greenville Avenue clinic, which will remain open, according to the Business Journal.

Community impact and next steps

JFS is promoting a ribbon-cutting celebration on Thursday, with a community event listing that includes times and contact information for volunteers and donors, per Jewish Dallas. Local officials and campaign leaders are expected to attend as the nonprofit ramps up meal-packing and volunteer operations tied to its expanded kosher home-delivered meals program.

The project was announced during JFS' 75th-anniversary fundraising push, which organizers say is being fueled by multiple seven-figure gifts from families and community leaders. "This expansion marks a significant milestone in our mission to better serve the evolving needs of the community," JFS CEO Cathy Barker said at the groundbreaking, according to the Dallas-Fort Worth Nonprofit Business Journal. Campaign leaders say the funds will cover purchase and renovation costs and bolster the agency's endowment to support long-term operations.
