Airia, the Atlanta-founded enterprise AI company, is doubling down on its hometown by choosing Tech Square for its new Atlanta office, putting the startup squarely in the heart of Midtown’s innovation corridor. The move gives Airia physical proximity to Georgia Tech researchers, corporate labs, and other AI teams as the company scales its orchestration and governance platform.
As reported by Atlanta Business Chronicle on March 9, 2026, Airia selected Portman Holdings’ Spring Quarter development for the new office. The Chronicle noted that the lease plants Airia firmly in Tech Square’s orbit and gives the company a Midtown footprint inside one of the neighborhood’s newest office buildings.
Company growth and funding
Airia has grown quickly since emerging from stealth in 2024, backed by a major funding commitment that is fueling its expansion. In a press release via Business Wire, the company said co-founder John Marshall committed $100 million to accelerate product development and go-to-market efforts. Airia’s About page also lists Atlanta among its operating bases and names Kevin Kiley as CEO and John Marshall as chairman, underscoring the firm’s Atlanta roots and leadership team.
Why Spring Quarter
Portman Holdings markets Spring Quarter, and its 1020 Spring tower, known as Ten Twenty Spring, as a modern, amenity-rich campus aimed at tech and professional-services tenants, according to Portman Holdings. The developer highlights large floor plates, private terraces, and curated retail as recruitment tools for tenants. By choosing Spring Quarter, Airia will be only steps from Tech Square and the Georgia Tech innovation ecosystem that has become a regional magnet for AI firms.
What it means for Atlanta’s AI cluster
Airia’s landing in Tech Square drops another enterprise AI operator into the Midtown mix, where startups and corporate innovation centers cluster for talent and partnership opportunities. Engage, the corporate innovation platform tied to Tech Square Ventures, featured Airia in its recent Cohort 15 lineup, signaling a pipeline to Fortune 500 partners and pilot opportunities, according to Engage. Industry coverage has also flagged Airia as a fast-scaling startup to watch after its funding announcement, a point picked up by outlets such as CRN.
The new office cements Airia’s local presence and gives the company closer access to the talent, research and corporate customers concentrated around Tech Square. The Midtown address is poised to play a role in recruiting and partnership work as Airia continues to expand its enterprise platform.
