According to WSB‑TV, Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta has released a portion of the surveillance footage as part of a public plea for tips. The station reports the clip shows multiple people brawling outside 421 Edgewood Ave. SE before shots are fired, and that a reward of up to $5,000 is on the table for information that leads to an arrest or indictment.
Police: Three Men Shot, All Awake and Breathing
Per the Atlanta Police Department, officers were called to 421 Edgewood Ave. SE shortly after 2 a.m. on Jan. 17. They found three men wounded: a 30 year old with a possible gunshot wound to his right foot, a 27 year old with an apparent wound to his left arm, and a 21 year old with injuries to his left shoulder and ankle. All three were alert and taken to a local hospital for treatment. Investigators with APD's Major Crimes Response Team say the case is still active as they work to piece together how the street fight turned into a shooting.
Edgewood Nightlife Strip Rocked By Repeat Violence
The incident adds to a string of weekend violence along the Edgewood Avenue nightlife corridor.
