Sunday morning turned tense in northwest Oklahoma City when officers responded to a reported stabbing near NW 9th Street and North Harvey Avenue. Police arrived to find one person suffering from stab wounds. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where the injuries were described as non-life-threatening. Witnesses in the area were held for questioning as officers searched for suspects and tried to lock down what happened.
Police on Scene
According to KFOR, officers pulled up to a large crowd gathered near a lounge and discovered the wounded individual in the middle of it all. Detectives began detaining witnesses from around the scene while they combed the area for evidence and potential leads.
Investigation Underway
"The scene is under further investigation," police said, as reported by KFOR. Detectives are reviewing surveillance footage and interviewing witnesses to piece together what sparked the altercation. As of now, no arrests have been announced.
