Police were called at about 5:25 p.m. Wednesday to the 300 block of Orange Avenue and East Seventh Street, where officers found a man suffering from a stab wound to his upper body, according to Long Beach police and reporting from MyNewsLA. Long Beach Fire Department personnel treated the man at the scene and took him to a hospital. Investigators say the suspect had already left the area before officers arrived, and the motive and circumstances remain under investigation.
