San Antonio police are asking for help tracking down a robbery suspect who, officers say, walked into a South Side convenience store in a Dallas Cowboys Micah Parsons jersey and flashed what appeared to be a handgun. The holdup happened Thursday, Feb. 26, around 7 p.m. in the 1400 block of Pleasanton Road, and the man took off on foot after a confrontation with an employee, according to investigators.
According to KENS 5, police say the man went into the store, began hiding merchandise and then refused to hand it back when an employee confronted him. At the door, the suspect lifted his shirt and revealed what officers describe as a handgun before walking away on foot. Detectives are asking anyone who saw the encounter or recognizes the suspect to come forward.

Per Crime Stoppers of San Antonio, tips can be submitted anonymously by calling 210-224-STOP (210-224-7867), using the P3 Tips mobile app, or through the group's website. Crime Stoppers says tipsters may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
What the law says
Under Texas law, using or exhibiting a deadly weapon during the course of a theft can elevate the offense to aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony. See Texas Penal Code 29.035 for the statute's language on "uses or exhibits a deadly weapon."
San Antonio police ask anyone who recognizes the person in the surveillance footage or who has information about the case to contact Crime Stoppers or the department's non-emergency line and to avoid approaching the suspect. As reported by Yahoo News, investigators say the suspect was wearing a Micah Parsons Cowboys jersey during the incident.
