This Saturday, Washington is set to become the final stop for the third major "No Kings" mobilization, as marchers converge on the Arlington side of the Potomac and stream across the Memorial Bridge toward the National Mall. Organizers plan to stage the gathering at Memorial Circle near Arlington National Cemetery, then lead the crowd past the Lincoln Memorial and on toward the Washington Monument. A separate downtown rally is slated for the afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Route, timing and organizers
Local chapters of Indivisible and allied grassroots groups are listed as hosts for the Memorial Bridge procession, which organizers say will start around 10 a.m. at Memorial Circle and move through West Potomac Park before reaching the Mall, according to Indivisible. As reported by FOX 5 DC, participants who complete the march will be able to head to a separate downtown rally running from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
National scale and why this round matters
The No Kings coalition is keeping an interactive map of local actions online and urging supporters to sign up for events nationwide, per No Kings. According to The Associated Press, previous No Kings days in June and October 2025 brought out millions of participants, and organizers say that recent federal enforcement actions in Minneapolis have only heightened the sense of urgency heading into the March 28 mobilization.
Getting there and safety tips
Organizers caution that there is little to no public parking near Memorial Circle and recommend arriving via the Blue Line to Arlington Cemetery station or parking at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and walking the short distance, according to Indivisible. Attendees are urged to bring water and sunscreen, and organizers note that marshals, trained de-escalators and first-aid teams will be on site to help keep the march nonviolent and orderly.
How to join and where to find events
No Kings maintains a central website and map listing local actions, and many partner organizations use Mobilize for RSVP pages and volunteer coordination, per No Kings and Mobilize. Anyone planning to attend should be ready for crowded trains and possible street closures near the Mall, and leave extra travel time for both Metro and surface transit.
