
A Friday night in Northridge turned deadly when a train struck and killed a pedestrian, according to emergency crews. The Los Angeles Fire Department said units responded to the area near West Chase Street and confirmed the incident as a fatality.

The Los Angeles Fire Department identified the scene as 17263 W Chase St and described the call as a "Train Vs Pedestrian FATALITY," according to LAFD. The alert also included links to a map and additional details and listed FS103 among the responding units.
