
Two men are still on the run after an early-morning carjacking along Marion Barry Avenue SE, according to D.C. police. Investigators say the incident unfolded on Jan. 22 at about 2:50 a.m., when two suspects approached a woman, took her car keys from her pocket and drove off in her vehicle. The car was later found abandoned, and police have released images of the suspects as they search for leads.
According to WJLA, the suspects snatched the keys and left the scene in the victim's car. The station reports that the vehicle was later located unoccupied and has shared a short clip of the surveillance video released by police.
