
A pre-dawn argument inside a Corona storefront left a 26-year-old man slashed in the neck early Saturday, and the attacker is still on the run, according to police.
The assault unfolded around 4:47 a.m. inside a commercial business at 37-13 103 Street in Corona, Queens, within the NYPD's 115th Precinct. Investigators say a verbal dispute between the victim and another man suddenly turned violent, ending with the victim cut in the neck by an unknown sharp object. The assailant bolted from the scene on foot and has not been caught.
Police are urging nearby residents and shop owners along the busy 103rd Street and Roosevelt Avenue corridor to pull any early-morning surveillance footage that might have captured the suspect and share it with investigators.

In a post on X, NYPD Crime Stoppers said the victim was “slashed in the neck with an unknown sharp object” after the dispute and that the suspect “fled on foot to parts unknown.” Detectives from the NYPD's 115th Precinct are handling the investigation.

According to the department's notice, the encounter started as a verbal argument inside the business and escalated quickly, leaving the 26-year-old with a neck wound. The public alert repeats that the attacker used an unknown sharp object and then ran off, with no clear direction of travel.
